Outlook Express Mail Server Change

This document will help you re-configure your Microsoft Outlook Express for our new mail server settings.

Step 1
Open Microsoft Outlook Express. In the Tools menu, select Accounts. The "Internet Accounts" dialog will appear. Select the Mail tab and then click on your CoreComm account.

Step 2
Click on the Properties button and then click the Servers tab.

Step 3
On the line that reads Outgoing Mail (SMTP), delete what is listed there and enter the following information:
Incoming mail (POP3):[See additional information]
Outgoing mail (SMTP):authmail.core.com

Place a check next to "My server requires authentication". Next, click the Settings button.

Step 4
Under the heading of "Logon Information" select the "Log on using" option and enter the following information:
Account Name:Your E-Mail address (ex: johndoe@core.com)
Password:Your E-Mail password

Click OK at this dialog, then OK again. Once back to the "Internet Accounts" dialog, click the Close button.

Your Outlook Express is now configured to work with our new mail server settings.
