Netscape Communicator - Save Messages Setting

This document will help you set Netscape Communicator so that it does not save messages on the mail server.

Open Netscape. In the Edit menu, select Preferences.

Click on the Mail Servers category in the left hand column (beneath Mail & Newsgroups) and look for the section titled Incoming Mail Servers.

This should show:[See additional information]
Outgoing mail (SMTP) server:authmail.core.com
Outgoing mail server user name:Your E-Mail Address (ex: johndoe@core.com)

Select your incoming mail server (it should read something similar to [See additional information]) and click Edit.

The checkbox that reads "Leave messages on server" should not be checked. If it is checked, uncheck it.

Click OK.

Netscape Communicator is now configured to remove messages from the server after downloading them.
