This document will help you set Eudora 5 so that it does not save messages on the mail server.

For Windows users, Select Tools from the menu and then Options. For Macintosh users, select Special from the menu and then Settings.

This screen will display in a list (on the left side of the "Options" dialog box) several categories from which to choose the settings you wish to modify. From that list, select Incoming Mail.

The checkbox that reads "Leave mail on server" should not be checked. If it is checked, uncheck it.

Click on OK. Eudora 5 is now configured to remove messages from the server after downloading them.
