Changing Your User Name
Windows XP
  1. Click Start, select Connect To and click on your CoreComm dialer:

Your dialer may not be titled ‘CoreComm.’ Sometimes it is named after your dial-up number, other times it may have been named something unique by you. Regardless of the name, it will occupy the position shown by the ‘CoreComm’ example in the snapshot above.
  2. From here, you can delete the User Name currently in place and type in your correct one. Be sure to include the full email address, such as: ‘user@domain.com,’ as opposed to just ‘user.’
  3. You will also want to click in the Password box to retype your password, as Windows XP can delete the password when a change is made to the User Name.
  4. To save you changes, click Dial. Once you have successfully connected, your new User Name is saved!
