HTML Editors
We have picked some of the more useful HTML editors available
for use in building your Web site. This is not a complete list of editors available, nor an
endorsement of any particular product. Every application varies, and the appropriate tool for the
job may be different for each project.
- Allaire Homesite
- Homesite is a very good editor for Windows 95/98/NT that provides a good blend of
power and flexibility. Winner of many awards, Homesite is available in an evaluation/demo
package, and is offered for sale on Allaire's site.
- BBEdit
- The critically aclaimed text editor only for the Macintosh supports
Undo multiple actions, syntax coloring and function navigation
support for files written in the TeX typesetting language, direct
editing of files resident on remote FTP servers, improved OSA
scripting support,and an assortment of other enhancements.
- Macromedia Dreamweaver
